Data You Provide

Plant and Log stores the plant names, notes, watering schedules, plant status, photos you choose to save, and watering history you create in the app.

Photos

When you take or choose a photo for plant analysis, the app sends the minimum necessary image and context to the configured plant analysis service so it can return plant care suggestions.

Location and Weather

If you allow location access, the app uses your approximate device location to fetch local weather and decide whether outdoor plants may skip watering. Location is used for this feature only.

iCloud

Plant records can be stored on your device and synced through iCloud when iCloud is enabled. iCloud data is handled by Apple under your Apple ID settings.

Purchases

Subscriptions and purchase history are handled by Apple. The app may use RevenueCat to check subscription status and unlock Pro features.

Analytics

The app may use Mixpanel to understand product usage, such as app opens, screen views, plant saves, watering actions, and successful purchases. Analytics events do not include raw image content, payment details, phone numbers, email addresses, or full names.

Feedback

If you send feedback in the app, the message content and selected feedback options may be used to improve the app. The feedback form asks you not to include contact information.

Children

Plant and Log is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

This policy may be updated when app features or data practices change.
